Winter doesn’t have to mean staying indoors! Our little ones love snowy adventures, and daily walks are not only a chance to move and breathe fresh air, but also an opportunity to explore the world with all their senses.
During our winter outings:
-
we observe the weather – learning how the world changes when snow, frost or a chilly wind appears;
-
we practice motor skills – we march, leave footprints, and roll tiny snowballs;
-
we build independence – putting on hats, gloves and fastening buttons are big steps toward becoming more self-reliant;
-
we strengthen immunity – short, regular walks have a wonderful effect on children’s health;
-
we explore the world through play – we watch winter birds, listen to the sounds of nature and touch the “cold fluff”!
We make sure every outing is safe and suited to the weather and the children’s abilities. A well-dressed toddler is a toddler ready for winter discoveries!
